Galaxy ZHi all,
First time Samsung user here. For the past few days I've been trying to add my ANZ card to the new Flip 5 I just got. Everytime I go through the card adding process to agreeing the terms and conditions, it would say invalid card details. I'm really frustrated and have tried so many different things. Wondering if someone can help with this issue.
Things I have tried but not worked include:
- Disable all my Apple pay devices that has this card stored
- Calling Anz for support (so many times and they can't seem to find the issue and took my device info for investigation)
- Delete Samsung wallet and reinstall the app
So far, none of the above worked for me.
I have also tried adding it to Google wallet, and it went through immediately. The problem is I think Samsung purposely disabled Google Pay on the cover screen, so everytime I use that, the phone always prompts me to open up to complete transactions.
Hopefully I can get some support here....

Galaxy ZIf yes, perhaps try that way of adding it.
When you have have tried adding it, are you doing it manually or via NFC or a photo of the card?

Galaxy ZI tried the same card on the same device with Google Pay and it went through straight away. I can use it through Google wallet (just not while folded)
When I called ANZ they just said there's an error code. They could see how many times ive tried it. The operators couldn't figure out the problem so they took my device info like serial number IMEI and such, and said they will file in a report for me. Still haven't heard back from them yet...

Galaxy ZBut question is, how are you trying to add it, as there are 3 methods in Samsung pay, but some banks also offer the ability from their own app.
For example, with UP, I can choose to add the card via their app.
Does ANZ offer this and have you tried?

I don't think so. I tried adding with nfc and manually type in the details, just not working at all. Yet I successfully added the same card through Google wallet. So not sure if the problem was with the bank or Samsung wallet.

Galaxy ZTo send an error report:
Samsung Members app > Support > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.

Galaxy ZTry, to uninstall the app and reinstall it. Then try again.
Sometimes, once added you may need to authorise in the actual bank app, under notifications.
