I've been to 2 service centers already and they have different approaches hownto fix it..one said to change the main board, the other one said its lcd assembly replacement as they have fixed a fold 3 with the same issue as mine...so now im confused
And to have it fixed i hopefully wanted to have a realistic idea on what it really is As it is very expensive 37k for the board The other is 27k for lcd assembly
My fold 3 behaving with no wifi connection after the update to UI 5.1, using UI 5.0 i dont have the issue, what in the world samsung service center look at it as hardware issue .. not funny so expensive.
Hi @MojDys. I'm having the same issue, though working yung wifi ko if I'm using the small screen, then if unfolded it won't work on the bigger screen, my phone will turn off or mawawala yung wifi. Did you get it fixed?
Lucky that you still have wifi on your..mine none at all...waiting for prices to drop on the things that have to be replaced then will.decide on what to do when that happens
Is this already fixed? I also encountered the same whenever i use the front screen, wifi can be used but when i unfold it or used the main screen; wifi connection will be lost and after few seconds phone will turn off.
I have the same issue. In fact, initially, I was able to use WiFi when folded, but not when unfolded (the phone would crash after a few moments), but now I can't even get WiFi to turn on when folded. Also, I've had more issues with my phone since upgrading to Android 13, not sure if related to WiFi issues.
When i upgrade my Z fold 3 to One UO 5.1 - my Wi-FI stop working after that and had a few restart when use the large screen, currently Service Center are telling me need to replace internal component which cost $HK4200 (that 42% of the cost of the current date). Currently I am waiting for HK Samsung giving me a full written report as I think with a phone this premium this should not happen, if there is a wi-fi problem then quote me for the wi-fi component not because the large screen is connected to that component you have to include the large screen to the price for the consumer to pay for, that would be a design problem.
Example: if you have a car puncture you will not change the motors as they are connected??!!??!?!??
