Same here i already did what MojDyS did and nothing bringing it to a service center and asking for 32k LCD replacement and with kit until now my fold 3 has no wifi iwas just transferring photos to my laptop and then i notice my wifi turned off and wont turn on 😭😭😭
Look like many Z fold 3 using has the same issue. I just started this after update One UI 5.1 (maybe just coincident happen after the update?) then WiFi stop working and try all the reset and factory reset (very hassle as need to back up all info etc etc). Service center now tell me:
"Hello, this message is from Samsung Repair Centre - Langham Place.

SAMSUNG is a Wi-Fi problem why you quote me to replace the LCD??? this would be grate article in South Morning China Post.
Hi, I got the same issue. At first, there was no audio when it is unfolded. Then I noticed, at a certain angle, the audio will sound. I ran diagnostics and I found out the issue was the Flex Mode sensor. Also when unfolded partially, the display doesn't change, like in Youtube, before it will show on the top the video and comments at the bottom, now it doesn't happen anymore.
Then after a few days, the wifi turned off by itself, and it won't turn back on anymore. I already did the network settings reset and factory reset to no avail.
My phone was just 1 month passed the warranty when all these happened and I'm stuck with these issues right now because the initial quote to me by the service centre is SGD 660, which is so expensive.
I want to check if anyone had their phone fixed already and is it worth it? Or just buy a new phone? With the repair quote, you can a Pixel 7.
Hi All, I have the same issue here after updating my Z fold 3 yesterday 13 June 2023 from UI 5.0 to UI 5.1. Now my wifi won't turn this morning until now. I am in Singapore. Although I samsung care which ending March 2024 but that is the solution if a lot of user are having same issues. How come after the update then I have this experience and reading above became LCD problem. Please samsung help fixed the issue . My fold 3 never dropped before guys. thank you
2 days after updating my fold 3 to the UI 5.1 a ton of issues followed. 1st my audio is all but gone when unfolded, but if I fold it beyond 90 degrees the audio is on, searched on google why thats happening apparantly its a hardware issue now? (How can the be?). 2nd connections with my JBL is buggy that it wont play any audio aswell and the video seems like its playing in slo-mo when connected. 3rd, a week maybe after the update my wifi is gone.... and I cant turn it on.. what the hell is going on. I HAVE NO AUDIO, I HAVE NO WIFI AND I CANT PLAY ANY MUSIC FROM AN INTERNAL SPEAKER.. my phone is basically a brick at this point. I've been so carefull with this phone, that Ive never dropped it and treated it like procelain.
I've the same problem of wifi since this morning. Just perform the OTA firmware update yesterday and today wifi unable to be turned on. Has anyone try to roll back to the older firmware?
Same issue. My fold 3 restarted out of nowhere and then the wifi toggle started malfunctioning (can't be turned on). I have tried resetting and updating but no luck. The service center said that the wifi of the phone is connected to the LCD module which needs to be replaced as whole even though there is no damage to the LCD whatsoever. Take note that I've just used this for 1yr and 4months (never dropped, never got wet, well taken care of). They quoted 34,950Php for the whole service. Why bother having it replaced for this much if you're not guaranteed that it will not malfunction out of nowhere again 😒 seems like a usual issue for the fold series. This is just disappointing.
Just encountered it now after update my wifi is not turning on... samsung should answer our questions since it's not encountered before the update... i was forced to update and now this happened tsk tsk their developers should look for bugs that caused the issue not blame it to hardware since it's working before thw systwm update
