Z Flip 3 black screen when unfold

Experiencing black screen when opening the Z flip. Any remedies?

Hey, can u feel if the phone is still powered on? Or from the cover screen, it's turned on?

can feel its powered on because there's sound when tapping e screen

Is it still under warranty? Or have u also purchased 2nd year Care+ additionally?

Most likely could be LCD issue.

just over warrenty last month. i realised if i dun open fully it does turn on. when i open fully. it turns on n goes off

Oh.. I think like that may not be faulty LCD, as you can still see the screen turned on when it's partially open. Most likely, the connector from the LCD to the PCB is loose and needs adjustment. Not sure if Samsung allows u to just pay the labour fee, since no part replacement is required. Or the best case scenario is to request for Samsung for a one-time waiver fee..

Do u know if i send it for servicing would they request to take back e phone for repair? Qte reluctant to back up n transfer to another phone. 😪

Yes definitely they will take back for repair. Typically takes about a week to get it back. And they will definitely do a factory reset, to prevent customer data access.

i realised i still have basic warrenty till end of this year. extended warrenty is over though. not sure wads e diff.
