Galaxy ZYou are definitely not the first one. Same other similar posts and other users experienced this before. In conclusion, the main culprit is the failure of its wifi module located right at the inner LCD screen. Due to frequently open and close, the wifi module becomes vulnerable. To fix this, you have to replace the LCD screen for around USD$ 500. Lucky if you still have the warranty.
This is the flaw design of Z Fold 3 and I believe Samsung is already aware of this, therefore they immediately releaze Z Fold 4. Unfortunately many users found this issue after the warranty is expired and Samsung seems to avoid to be responsible for this.
And dont spend $500 to replace its LCD, it will break again after several months since the flaw is in the design.

Galaxy ZYes, I still have Care+ coverage till next year July.
I am booking another round of appointment again this Friday. Even my 2nd mic issue is not resolved yet, despite changing the back cover as the mic is located at the back cover.

Galaxy ZThis will be my last Samsung phone.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 5G’s Wi-Fi stopped working after less than 2 years, a clearly common issue with the Fold series. Many people on Samsung forums and other online platforms are complaining about the same thing happening just after 2 years when the warranty runs out.
Last month, every time I opened the internal screen, the phone froze and shut off. When powered back on, the Wi-Fi wouldn’t turn on. Reading about others’ experiences online, there seems to be an issue caused by the hinge of the Fold series.
Because my phone has a small scratch on the external screen, this has voided the Samsung warranty, and they want to charge me £800 to fix the Wi-Fi issue by replacing both the internal and external screens despite the internal screen having no damage, scratch whatsoever, which seems fishy to me.
Samsung’s customer service is extremely poor; they just take you around in circles with very little help and a dismissive attitude.
I feel that I have been robbed; the phone cost £1500.
