Z Fold 4 Inner Display Turned Black

After I had my latest security update, i was just browsing tiktok then suddenly my screen went dark. I did several restart and still not working. I'm panicking now. Ugh!

Good thing the outer screen is still working.

Oh no! Bring it to the nearest service center. Mine slowly died, but after a couple of weeks the front screen started flickering too. Don't wait too long to get it assessed by a technician!

Thank you. I did bring it to the service center the same day. Unfortunately my samsung care ended last September. They said they will ask to extend the warranty. They even gave me a service unit to use for the mean time.

Its great to hear they tried to see if there are alternative solutions. What service center was this?

SM North. Yeah, they're all nice and helpful there.

Got my phone back today. They replaced the inside screen panel. They covered the repair costs. So happy.

Amazing! Glad it was all covered. When I got mine back, they repaired a lot of things they saw faulty even if I didn't complain about those (battery, charging port, etc.)

Got mine today, inner screen goes black if i open it right away. I have to open it slowly just to display the inner screen. If this is the case maybe the Flex is not that durable.

Yeah. I think so too. I thought at first it was caused by the software since it happened after I updated. They told me they replaced the inner screen and the hinge.

Strange... just receive my Zfold4 the Samsung service said that even though theres no sign of damage, what causes the said black screen was a little damage due to light fall of the phone. Meaning a little bump even if hard case on it will still cause damage.
