Samsung must allow users choosing their own colors for reminders in Calendar.

Wondering why Samsung hasn't given the users an option of picking colors of their own choice for the reminders, events, birthdays, meetings, important and critical events, special events and conferences etc.

Firstly, there are no options to select from the above list of events. 

Secondly, the least Samsung should have added an icon for the users to be able to pick and chose the color for the different events on their own choice. Instead, Samsung restricted the users to pick the color for the event reminders from a very few and limited colors. And, those colors are almost identical, resembles and look similar with each other. Which is very hard/tough especially for those who are completely dependent on calendar and uses it almost every 10-15 minutes throughout the day, such as myself.

Therefore, I kindly request the team of Samsung who updates, revises and continuously work hard to add new options and bring improvements in Apps (Applications), to please try and take my suggestion into consideration to make it more helpful and user-friendly calendar. 

Looking forward to seeing and experiencing the new look with added features and options to the calendar.

Account Colour | Color

Goto, Calendar / Menu / Manage Calendars

Then, tap on calendar.


Event Colour | Color

Tap on the day.

Then, tap on the colour circle on the right.

Choose colours. Illustration attached.


Multiple Event Colour | Color

Tap on the event.

Select, the choice of colour.

Save.

This and future events or All events in series.

Im aware of the existsting ones and what you have advised. Im talking about an additional circle which should lead us to a complete/full chart of the colours from which the user can either be able to pick the colour of their own choice or mixing them to create their own.

To begin with, I thank you for the response to my query.

Well, I can totally understand and know how the big corporates functions etc and before my suggestion get approved my suggestion roam around at every corner of the corporate house for the discussions, meetings and approvals etc etc because Im also a part of the management in a huge multi-national organisation such as yours. But I would be glad to witness it's done and looking forward to see what I suggested because of its importance and it is a very very simple & easiest addition so Im hoping accepted and get it added since its just one click job. Im an IT man and know it could be done within 5 to 10 minutes. Anyway, I appreciate for taking time to read and respond to my query in a professional manner which is a good surprise to me. I download couple of other calendar Apps on my devise but I just want to stick with Samsung one because I got used to it. I can say with all my honesty that Im one of the most loyal, loving and a happy customer of Samsung since the day one mobile phones are launched in the market (I think it was 2009 or 2010, Please correct me if Im wrong..?) since then it's become addiction and as time passes, one after one every single electronic and electrical appliances in my home is replaced by the Samsung products. According to my wife it's an obsession. And whenever we have a new visitor Im asked whether I work for Samsung. All my friends & colleagues are known already and on almost every weekend it is like mandatory to talk about the Samsung and my addiction and my friends says the same what my wife does "obsession", and every single new visitor to my home ask whether I work for the Samsung and wife starts laughing.

This still hasn't been done and it's one of the simplest functions to implement, some people need more category colours than the ones provided not to mention a few of them are almost identical, *sigh*
