Bespoke Washing Machine Drain Hose

Hello everyone,

I wanted to ask for anyone’s input regarding situation as in the picture. Trying to get the drain hose of new Samsung washing machine but as seen in the photo it is falling short to reach the drainpipe.

Extension hose is an option but I am not experienced or know if there are potential downsides for adding aftermarket options - though surely cheaper. I have heard that it will void the warranty of unit.

There is a spigot under sink but would require another hole in the cabinet (there is already one for water outlet pipes). And how to get drain pipe 60 cms or above from ground if we attach to spigot?

Any other reasonable suggestions?

You could get a plumber out and swap drain and tap positions or extension

If it is flex hoses to tap and drain you might be able to do it yourself.

I think the extension hose is your best bet...
From their manuals, it says if the hose is too short to replace

I realized that it doesn't matter at all what kind of plumbing you have and how expensive it is. It's important that it's installed by a reliable and experienced plumber who is perfectly versed in his work.
