Home AppliancesSamsung washer WW85T554DAB needs smart control enabled after each power on/door close. This is annoying since samsung advertises it's products stating its remotely controlled, but in fact its just once per wash that you could control & then smart control gets disabled. Either this is faulty machine that I have(brand new, less than a month old) OR samsung has fooled customers advertising products with smart control as always remotely controllable.. either or, I am frustrated as the main reason I purchased Samsung washer to take benefit of integrating with other smart home products/hubs & control via app/voice commands.. imagine the pain to go to washer , enable smart control manually & then click start button from app? Even worse, schedule washer to run at set time every week but it won't start since the smart control got disabled due to last wash cycle completion? What on earth is this called smart @Samsung ?
Also, I got a faulty water hose that leaked, had to pay $60 for new water hose along with $120 call out fee for the external plumber (as samsung wouldn't bother to replace pipes, which it would otherwise may have had I got proper one )

Google the full title of your post for some mixed and positive answers. For water problem if under warranty then involve ACCC or State Fair Trading but Samsung is really bad about these things. Look at Small Claims Tribunal to see if that is viable in terms of cost. Note phrase "fit for purpoe" and Google that.

I know this took me a few attempts to figure outbith how to use the smart control and then annoyingly once I did I didn't realise I'd inadvertently switched it off by adding something to the wash.
