Members Star's CornerHey Samsung Members,
If you're an avid Lightroom Mobile user relying on a Bluetooth or physical keyboard for editing and culling, you might have noticed that the latest update, Version 9.1, broke a crucial feature – the arrow key shortcuts for Asset/Film Scrolling.
For those of us who regularly edit and sort through hundreds or even thousands of images, the loss of this feature can significantly slow down our workflow and make the editing process more cumbersome. Thankfully, I've stumbled upon a quick solution to address this issue until Adobe releases a fix, which is expected sometime next year.
As I've been in touch with Adobe regarding this matter, they are actively working on resolving it in the upcoming updates. However, if you can't wait and need to regain those essential arrow key shortcuts right away, here's a workaround:
Download Lightroom Mobile Version 8.5: You can find the APK file for Lightroom Mobile Version 8.5 here.
Uninstall the Newer Version: Before installing the older version, ensure you clear your cache and uninstall the current Adobe Lightroom Mobile version on your device.
Going back to Version 8.5 means you'll temporarily miss out on the new Beta Lens Blur feature. However, for many users, this might not be a critical loss, especially since you can adjust lens blur effects in your Gallery Editing app if you've shot your photos in Portrait Mode.
Please note that installing an older version involves some manual steps, so proceed with caution. Also, keep in mind that this is a temporary fix, and it's always a good idea to update to the latest version once the arrow key shortcuts are reinstated.
Feel free to share this workaround with fellow Lightroom Mobile enthusiasts, and let's hope for a swift resolution from Adobe in the near future.
Happy editing!
