S25U April Update

Surprised to be seeing this today, since it's a public holiday😲

This update finally returns media player (tested with Samsung Music) to Live Notifications 🥳

This should also be live for the S25 & S25+

Finally they fixed the issue with the white bar when using the camera cutout settings. Now my S25 feels perfect.

But I just noticed the battery icon is now way too big and looks ugly, and the learning function of my adaptive brightness has stopped working...

Yeah, I dont know.
People complained it was too small, so they made it bigger 😂

Haven't noticed any issues with Adaptive Brightness though. 🤔

So the issue with the adaptive brightness is that it no longer learns what your preference for the screen brightness is. You can test this by repeating this a few times while indoors.
1. turn adaptive brightness off then back on.
2. adjust brightness to maximum.
After a few times, adaptive brightness learns that you prefer the screen brighter under these lighting conditions, so when you turn off and turn on adaptive brightness it will be brighter than before (but this no longer works after the update).
To reverse it, just do the steps above but put brightness to minimum instead, and stop once it is at your preferred brightness.
EDIT: The issue seems to only affect the S25 Ultra, I tried the S25 base model after the update and adaptive brightness is still functional.

So we can take granted that the update will come 2 or 3 days after korean One UI 7 upgrade in s24 and z fold flip series

Err doubt it, the updated firmware was released in Korea Thursday.. it's still yet to be released in Europe or the US..so once they're start gettin it add 4/5 days for India etc and hopefully aus too. But this is best case scenario

Lol that is annoying... so we are not getting it on April I don't think that's the case anymore at least not here in aus 😂

Yeah I mean unless we get some news in the next 24 hrs of the US getting it. Friday seems to be very best, no one knows.. India is still set to get it in April which we where set to get along side so still a slim chance. But yeah April looking less and less likely.
