OthersHi, I need to change my profile "Country Detail" from South Korea to Philippines without going through the NICE verification system.
I'm not even sure why my country was set to South Korea.
I can't change it on my Samsung Account on the phone as it is disabled, as shown in the snapshot below.
Country Detail disabled on Phone
If I try to log on to my computer browser, I get prompted with the "NICE Information System" verification process for Korean Residents as captured on the video below.
Most of the instructions I get online to change the Country Detail is to log on to my account on desktop browser to change it (not on the phone).
I'm not sure why Samsung is preventing us to change it on the phone or from our account on desktop browser without going through a verification process. It's my account, it's my data, it's my information. If I can choose to delete my account, I should be able to simply change my Country Detail. Should be plain and simple.
I have been trying to contact support via email and chat to no avail. Even Samsung official support don't know what to do as well.
I had to create a new account to pre-order the new phone. I'm still using the old account on the new phone as all my data is there - both personal and business.
I hope somebody here is able to help me resolve this as I get no response from email support since Jan 19, 2024.
I have been a Samsung user since the Note 1 release. I got S24 Ultra. But this is the worst support I got so far from them. Nobody knows or tries to help me resolve this.

OthersHi there mraldin,
Sorry to hear about this. I noticed you've been mailing ph_shop@samsung.com for this, but that email handles mostly purchase concerns. I'll be escalating your concern to our Service Center team, but you can also help push this issue along by doing any of the following:
1. Send us a private message via Facebook / Instagram / X with your name, contact details, and device IMEI. We'll forward your details, along with your issue, to our customer service team and see if something can be done.
2. You can connect directly with our service staff via this link: Smartphone, Tablet & Customer Support | Samsung Philippines
Let me know if you have any updates.
Thank you!
