Kind of. The additional clean now button back then was in the storage section of Device Maintenance, and it deletes the residual files which some apps left behind.
As much as I want the automatic cleaning of residual files, I think it's still better that we now have a better summary of the things that are using our storage, like duplicate and large files. The clean now button back then just deletes some residuals, but it doesn't have that much effect really on storage use.
Aah, I remember now. Wasn't it a version of an app? I used to have the app and stopped when the feature came out. I would suggest that as further improvements to my files. To add a list of files rarely accessed like apps rarely used. At the moment, it presents large files.
