OthersSo you'll receive 4 security patch updates every year until 2024 (2025 if u have the Nacho version)
* I'm not sure on this as long as Samsung don't move Galaxy A12 to biannual update, this will be effective
** But if samsung moved Galaxy A12 to biannual update starting 2023, then we'll only recieve 2 security updates in a year until 2024
And in some situations, we'll receive 4-5 or 4-6 security patch updates in a year if some (critical) vulnerability issues has been fix that's why it's recommended to install security updates on time
(This applies while quarterly update)
Don't worry, even though GalaxyA12 will be move to biannual update soon, we still recieve security updates if needed (such as critical vulnerability issue fixes)
