Instagram blank screen (totally)

Just trying my luck here since i'm at my wits end. I face a possible *** on my IG account and i get a total blank screen after logging in. Summarizing the story in pointers:

- I received an email indicating a login attempt from a new device (EDGE browser), opened IG app but showed login page (usually will go straight to feeds page)
- Clicked login to my saved profile and next screen shows "loading....", when the loading msg disappears its just a blank screen except for my phone's navigation and status bar on the top and bottom. 
- Suspected to be hacked so tried to change password using web browser and success, but re-login still gotten the blank screen.
- None of the IG's help centre's suggestions worked, send selfie video to verify (get blank screen), selected "My account was hacked" and key-ed in verification code (get blank screen), selected "Get Support" but returned message ”Unable to process request"
- Deleted cache, delete and re-installed app many time still the same blank screen.
- Scanned all my apps using built-in Mcafee no viruses detected.
- So far other apps on my S23 phone seems to be working fine.
Friends still can see my previous posts though, so i suspect its not banned or deactivated.

Anyone else facing similar issue? Sorry for being long-winded, just hope to get my account back or at least the app working in order to get to IG's support team via in-app options.

Change Phone - verify it works with IG before making payment.

This might be a problem with ig. Have you tried using another account to login? Maybe use a family member's?

If it still persists, then maybe back up all your data and factory reset (it should get rid of any hidden "malware"), McAfee may not always detect everything

I haven't tried asking others to sign-in on my phone yet as i'm also afraid it might affect their account. You're right about McAfee too, factory reset is my last resort and still trying for another resolution.

I have the exact same problem with my S22.

Tried everything just like you, nothing works. I also tried to use my old phone and it´s just the same thing. I hope for an IG update, maybe it´s a bug

Sorry to hear that. Yes I've added a review in google play store hopefully can get their developer's attention. Also hoping it's a bug that they can fix. Guess now it's a waiting game.

I am facing the exact same issues, I can login to other family member account in my S23 just not my own account, every time after I key in the 6 digits code, the login page will turn blank. I clear cache, clear data, uninstalled all doesn't work. I can't even login using others phone.

Sorry to hear about your encounter too. That means highly likely our account is disabled/banned/deactivated/blocked by instagram. Not the app issue. And there is no way to get in touch with them which is annoying.

Update: I managed to get IG working again (so far so good for a few days now). What i did:

- downloaded older IG apk version (5-6 updates earlier) online.
- disable auto blocker to allow installation from unknown sources.
- installed IG apk and re-enable back auto blocker.
- open IG app and went through the usual login process of:

> choosing to take selfie video for verification option.
> get verification code via email and entered.

- usually after entering verification code, next screen will be blank again. But this time round the next screen finally showed the selfie video verification page to take video.
- followed the instruction to move face up, down, left, right and submit.
- confirmation of video sent to support team message appeared.
- received email confirmation from support team that its received and process will take a few days.
- successful verification email received the same day and prompted to reset password.
- login IG app (still old version) and its working again!
- left it at old version until it auto updated to latest version in google playstore 2 days ago and still working at the time of this message.

Important note: i've never disabled auto blocker before and never download 3rd party apk as i fear virus infection, i did it for IG because i simply didn't want to factory reset my phone. So consider and decide for yourself if you wish to try this method and hope we won't get infected.
