MESSENGER ISN'T OPTIMIZED FOR THE LATEST VERSION OF ANDROID

Hi y'all.
Have you ever experienced this quick notice? It appears when I am minimizing the chat heads for Facebook Messenger and Workchat (in Workplace). Upon minimizing the chat head/s it takes me 3 unrecognized touches on the screen until the touch will be recognized. 
Is it just me who experiences this?
The apps are updated to their latest versions, as well as my software (running on Android 12; One UI 4.1) so please send help 😅

Also been experiencing the same for almost a month now reallt irritating, already updated my messenger and my phone. My quick fix was to remove chat bubbles when I don't have to use my messenger often.

Late reply I know but this is an issue with Android system WebView. After hours of searching the internet I found someone mention this. Checked my version to my wife's and determined my Android system WebView was a couple versions behind. Not sure why as the play store said it was up to date. I found the Android system WebView website that has the latest version of the apk, installed that and the issue went away. That is untill the next play store update of Android system WebView. I'd look into that

Hello Lawr,

Still have the same problem, may be we can try to make sure that Messages is your device's default app for SMS.

Please let us know by clicking/selecting ACCEPT AS SOLUTION to your next reply.

I already uninstalled and installed it again luckily, it doesn't show that sign anymore

If you are a beta tester, try leaving that option.

Same experience. Messenger app and software already updated. It's been 6 months I think, and I am still experiencing the same issue. Countless times to uninstall and reinstalling the apps, but still the same. I can't even open other apps! Bit annoying and frustrating because I need to restart/off my phone all over again just to run it normal.
