It is safe to activate it, as this will serve as a better way of sending messages and will be able to carry more information, photos, videos and audio messages. Hi. RCS is a better replacement to default Messaging app. For instance, Smart Comm has discontinued the use of MMS. When you send image as text, it wont send. With RCS, the image will be sent for so long you have internet connection.
RCS on the default Samsung Messages app is useless. It's better to use Google Messages as it provides true RCS features. It just **bleep** that Google Messages does not have a watch app companion.
