Hello Abegail2006,

Thanks for letting us know your experience with your Samsung Galaxy phone having issue whenever you are placing the SIM card, your phone clicks on its own. I feel you and if my device is having similar experience, I will be bothered too.

Before you try out the below recommendations as to your solution, be sure to check if your device's software are updated with the latest version. Please check how to update your mobile device's software in the following order.

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 4. Restart your device.

Turn On Accidental touch protection.

Step 1. Go to Settings > tap Display.

Step 2. Tap the switch next to Accidental touch protection to turn the feature on.

Step 3. Restart your device and try one more time.

Attachments to the screen may affect the touch sensitivity.

If you attach accessories, such as screen protectors to the touch screen, the touch screen may not work properly. Small stickers, such as protective labels, can also affect touch sensitivity. In particular, some Samsung-unapproved protective glasses or films have only adhesive on the side edges, and if these products are attached to the screen, the protective glass or film may not adhere completely to the screen.

Because of this, some areas of the touch screen may not recognize the touch and may respond intermittently. After removing the attachment, check the touch function again. If the attachment is removed and the touch works properly, your phone has no problem regarding the touch screen.

Moisture may affect the touch screen.

The touchscreen may malfunction in humid conditions or when exposed to water.

Step 1. Launch the Samsung Members app, and then tap the Support icon for more options.

Step 2. Scroll and select Error reports.

Step 3. Choose a category of your concern. Select "Sensor/Touch".

Step 4. Choose the frequency of the issue you are experiencing. Enter issue details or attach a video or screenshot. Then press Send icons to complete the report.
