Just sharing my method on how to increase the chance of your lost/stolen Samsung device to be found. You can add this in the Routines tab in the Modes&Routines Menu.
Basically if this device is lost/stolen, I can send a text message: "lost_mode", from any device and it will enable all the necessary functions like wifi, data, location, etc (even when those are turned off) so it can help you track your device. It will work IF your device can receive text messages and you have data. Just also make sure "Offline Finding" is enabled in your settings. You can add your own conditions that fit your needs.
Downside is you can't add a condition where you can:
1. Send your lost/stolen device's latest location via SMS to the number where you sent the "lost_mode" mesage (or other messaging apps).
2. Enable Lockdown Mode
I know iOS already has some of that feature, hoping Samsung will do the same.
