I really like Modes and Routines, but I really want a feature to send a text Message.
I have 2 phones, iPhone and Samsung.
And I want to have an automated communication thru iPhone's Shortcuts and Samsung's Modes and Routines using SMS.
For example, if I want to activate Sleep Focus in iPhone, I can create an automation that when I use Sleep Focus, it will automate to send an SMS to my Samsung. On my Samsung, when I received an automated message from my iPhone, it can start the Sleep Mode automatically without touching my Samsung phone. This setup is currently working well, but not the other way around. Samsung Modes and Routines doesn't have a way to send SMS natively.
In my workaround, I am using Bixby to send a message, but this is not automated. I need to press buttons to actually send an SMS, which defeat the purpose of automation. I don't know if sending an SMS thru Modes and Routines natively is hard to implement, but it is working on Bixby Routines, just with extra steps.
Please add sending SMS on Modes and Routines, I can create powerful Modes and Routines and Shortcuts with this.
