I read in the One UI 3.1 update (at least for my tablet):

You can no longer connect to Chromecast using Smart View. You can use Google Home instead.

I guess it's worth a try.

I found out Screencast is working(chromecast only)using Miracast apps, so you can cast any TV(only chromecast) and laptop(windows only)

Using my samsung J7, I used to connect my media with a non-smart tv using chromecast.

Now with my A12, sad to say I can't.

Well Samsung Flow has SmartView with Touch and Keyboard Input.
