Hi. Anybody here had used secure folder? I restarted my phone and have this notif that can't be removed unless you're logged in. My pin was always incorrect and I have no "Forgot password" option. I cleared its cache in the App section and its data. But I still can't log in and have the Forgot password option. I just want to uninstall it now and remove the permanent notif.

I've been searching via google and reddit same cases. And I read and tried one suggestion from reddit, but idk if it works in all types of samsung. There was this app that you can DL named "Quick shortcut" the one that has a small blue small rocket ship, once you DL it, open and click the blue icon "app" then go to System app, search "secure folder" and click "try" you will be redirected to the Secure folder section and ask to reset your password or log in with your samsung acct, you can reset it there, have another pin and try that new pw when you open the Secure folder app. IT WORKED FOR ME!!!!! SO i hope it does work for you too. Coz I did all the suggestions but this one was works effective. 😅

Yeah! That's one of my gripes. I raised a ticket to have that really dumb system notification removed. It's system based you can't turn it off once you activate secure folder. If you forget your password all you have to do is disable it. All your stuff inside will be gone though. Still kept it a secret which is good. Just the **bleep** notification when you restart. Oh, and Maya doesn't work within it, too, for some reason. I keep all my financial stuff in the secure folder and use a different password while I use biometrics to lock the fin apps. More layers of security the better. I used to lock it with my malware app but some apps don't play well with multi layer security.
