OthersHello Jofert,
Thanks for your inquiry, here.
At Samsung, our number one priority is offering the best and most secure mobile experience to our users, and we are constantly optimizing the security of our products and services.
Mobile devices play such an important role in our lives, it’s only natural that we want to hold onto them longer. That’s why, thanks to the latest technology advancements, we are committing to securing Galaxy devices for even longer, so that everything that should be kept protected stays protected.
You can personalize your device by setting your own wallpaper. Your device includes a selection of wallpapers to choose from, or you can use one of the photos or videos you've taken or downloaded. On some devices you can even choose to set a wallpaper that changes each time you use your device.
Before you try out the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:
Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.
Step 2. Tap on Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 4. Restart your device.
Set a new wallpaper from the home screen.
Step 1. Tap and hold any empty space on the home screen.
Step 2. Tap "Wallpapers".
Step 3. Tap "My wallpapers" or "Gallery". You can also tap "Explore more wallpapers" to choose from a wider selection of wallpapers. For further assistance, read the section below "Download a new wallpaper".
If you have selected "My wallpapers", tap your preferred wallpaper. If you have selected "Gallery", tap the image(s) or video(s) that you would like to set as your wallpaper, then tap "Done".
Step 4. Choose whether you want to set the image as the wallpaper for your "Home screen", "Lock screen" or both your "Home and lock screen".
Step 5. You will now be shown a preview of your wallpaper which you can adjust before saving. Pinch in and out to zoom or drag the image around to change its position.
Step 6. Tap "Set on Home screen" or "Set on Lock screen" or "Set on Home and Lock screens" to save new wallpaper.
Please note: If you would like to use a wallpaper or image from the internet, you will first need to download it onto your device. You can usually do this by pressing and holding the image until you get a pop-up with the option Save Photo or Save Image. The image will then be saved in the Downloads folder in the Gallery.
