The released schedule said the M31 was to receive the OneUI 3.0 update by March but it looks like we got it a lot earlier than expected.

Lock screen clock font has changed to a thinner and sleeker one. (Yes thats the S21 wallpaper, i think it's nice haha)

Pin keypad has changed to circlulat keys

Lock screen widgets are now seen on one screen when thr clock is tapped, as opposed to swiping the clock on One UI 2.5

Gaussian Blurred and better organized quick settings menu

Sleeker notification shade. Messages are put on their own category at the top of Notifications.

Multitasking app tray is now layered, and feels snappier than before. When exiting out of a game, it feels smoother with an animation and no longer does that weird 1 second delay to rotatr the screen.

The edge panel tools and edge lighting is finally introduced to the M31.

Android 11 - easter egg is unnaccessible because of thr software skin.

Other new features include conversation bubbles of Android 11 integrated in all the compatible messaging apps including samsung messages (FB Messenger loses chat heads and you get bubbles in the app settings), Video background for call screen, sound and audio slider now vertical and closer to the edge of the screen, reorganized settings layout, digital well being is refined, battery information in the device care is also more informative, and a lot more. See here for changelog: https://doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-M315F/XTC/doc.html

Some things not mentioned in the change log: haptic feedback for keyboard, edge lighting, edge panel, and brief pop-up notifications are introduced to the M31, these features used to be only part of A-series and flagship phones.

Overall, I think OneUI 3.0 is very refined and can make your device feel very premium.
