My routines were disabled and not a single routine stayed active after updating to OneUI 7
I have made some edits on some routines and I'm leveraging the If-Else action that came with OneUI 7.
1.
It seems like the Time Period should be placed before the Place or location for the routine to work if they are both required to be met for the actions to take place.
I must no longer include the wired headphones and Bluetooth device as conditions in the If section for this to work.
To still include Bluetooth devices as a condition, i had to incorporate the If-Else statement in the Actions (or "then" section) like this:
This, i think, is better because it allows me to select more than one Bluetooth devices as conditions for the next actions to proceed. The wired headphones, however, is not included as conditions here. Also, when i suggested something like this back when i was still in OneUI 5, i meant to include callers - so if random callers are trying to make a call, your phone can autoreject or remain in do not disturb, but when specific numbers of callers are trying to call, they will not be rejected, or even pause the do not disturb or any running focus mode - this is, to my disappointment, still not included in OneUI 7.

Because of the If-Else statement though, i was able to turn my 4 small routines into 2 bigger routines.
I've merged my evening audio routine ...
...With my evening display routine
I also did the same for my daytime display and audio routines.
...All made possible because of the If-Else statement
I can now begin to think of another routines to replace my daytime and evening audio routines with. Like because of the hot climate, I'm kinda forced to let go of location and mobile data most of the day. I never used to turn them off even with my old devices like S7 edge but now, i think i have to be contented with just connecting to WiFi even if i tend to move to different facilities or be in the open field. I really miss having location-based reminders and automations when location access is disabled. I'm thinking of automatically turning on mobile data when i turn off or got disconnected from WiFi - maybe that's one routine to have a total of 49 so far then i still have 1 slot to reach the 50 routine limit. I really hope they can add more slots to routines since they've removed quick commands to copy Apple and Google.
