It no longer shows as an intrusive notification that you can't dismiss and it's no longer included on left side of the notification and status bar. Instead it's now a really small information at the top of notification shade and sits on the right side of the notification and status bar, together with running mode, sound mode etc.
I like it better.
As of this writing, it's not included in quick star so you can't remove it from the notification and status bar completely.
