Good day! I hope this will clarify the issue, the Galaxy A34 has a 3.5mm headphone port, and users who want to use earbuds or headphones will have to connect them via Bluetooth or through a USB-C-3.5mm dongle they can purchase separately.

Hello jomari_Mendiola,

How nice of you helping out your friend's beloved Samsung Galaxy A34 5G having issue(s) with the non-working USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter while this accessory is normally working on your Samsung Galaxy A22. I feel and understand your friend's predicament, if I am having similar issue, I get worried too.

As you are aware, some USB Type-C earphones and USB Type-C adapters (sold separately) may not be compatible with some Galaxy device and some functions and features may not work properly. Make sure they are compatible with the device before purchase.

You may also want to check and inspect the headphone port for any debris, dust, visible scratch etc. with the use of flashlight.

If there is none and to fully assess your friend's device and its accessories, I highly recommend submit it to the nearest Samsung Authorized Service Center in you area.

or book an appointment with the Samsung Members app as follows:
