Tried to voice call someone using smart mobile but I've tapped the video call instead and it works. Does someone know if this is a Smart mobile network feature or a samsung feature (like apple's facetime)?

Did it use the mobile data or was it charged as voice call?

Yes! both of your Smart mobile network service provider and your beloved Samsung Galaxy phone has 5G features to have a clearer voice reception and a video call capabilities.

I'm actually genuinely interested to find out as well. Because I've never used that video call function straight from my phonebook

Just to give an update. I called smart and their customer service confirmed that it was their feature. It will bill you a regular load if you'll use the video call
