I hope this gets improved (resolved) with next UI update/upgrade.

Update Oct 8 2023:

Alright I think I've found out something. This was really annoying me probably because I kinda have this "perfectionist disorder" or something like OCD.

Okay I changed some widgets because Google widget won't stop displaying the weather in place of the date, and removed some of them after I've uninstalled and reinstalled Google keep then realised I mostly use just 3 widgets out of 6 that were previously stacked. Then I noticed that the reloading time was reduced. I think it's that the stacked (or "smart") widgets aren't optimised or Samsung didn't expect that someone would use or stack multiple widgets of the same app or the processor of this phone is not that capable as expected.

Then I remember that this phone is called...... "ULTRA"

Interesting. That's the home screen? Or are you on DEX? I set my screen to portrait only. As I don't use the phone on its side. How do you make the screen re orient?

I'm not using Dex in this. The auto rotate is set to rotate the home screen and lockscreen. Screenshot_20231008_180823_Samsung Members.jpg

Could it be related to the auto rotate? Then the widgets have to redraw in the new orientation? Where do you access Auto Rotate?

Yes, I think so too and I've created a post related to that before. I was using a Note20 Ultra back then and I didn't expect it would be the same with S23 Ultra considering it's now a Snapdragon "for galaxy".

I've updated this post. I think that Samsung wasn't expecting that someone would use or stack multiple widgets of the same app.Screenshot_20231008_181903_Samsung Members.jpgScreenshot_20231008_181931_Samsung Members.jpg

Sorry, I didn't notice you have another question.
To access auto rotate,

1. Go to quick access panel (also quick settings panel) look for the button with "portrait" under it. It will switch to auto rotate if you tap on it. It will take you to the other options if you tap on the word "portrait" or if you long press the button.
2. If you can't find it in the quick access panel, go to more options and tap edit buttons
3. Then look for that button on the available buttons panel. Then you can drag it to the quick access panel. 20231008_213817_1000009871_1696772297.jpg20231008_213840_1000009872_1696772320.jpg20231008_213937_1000009873_1696772377.jpg

Thanks! Found it. I think this is the first time I encountered this option.
