That size A9 tablet is no longer sold in Australia, but You can buy it on Ebay for about $250 AUD ( wifi & 4G model).
They are sold by an Australian seller, who buys them from Asia it seems & gives a 2 year warranty with it still.
I just bought one, & the product & service just seemed 100% fine.

Know nothing about a 2025 8" tablet coming out...& I'm sure my salesman at Harvey Norman would have told me, when I rang him re a 8.7" tablet. ...& he told me no go in Australia any more for that size.
