I upgraded my Mobile from S23 Ultra to the S24 Ultra, and then I could give the 23 to my son who needed a new phone..

The only reason was Optus had a promotion which was a Samsung watch, I upgraded that to an Ultra watch, S24 Ultra and earbuds on Redemption.

I ordered everything through the Optus app and was told to collect my order from Optus shop.

I completed the paperwork and had the phone activated on 03/11/24.

I was supplied an invoice, which has an invoice number, date of purchase and clearly states "DELIVERY/ PROOF OF PURCHASE". And "PLEASE RETAIN THIS DOCUMENT AS IT IS YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE", no other paperwork was supplied..!

On 05/11/24 I went onto the Samsung Promotion website to claim the Earbuds, I completed the form with the date supplied on the PROOF OF PURCHASE / Invoice, the submitted a copy of the PROOF OF PURCHASE as per the Promotion, and well before the promotion end...!

I never received my earbuds..!

When I called to find out what was happening, the person on the end of the phone at Telco-promos said my claim was rejected because I supplied the delivery document and delivery date!

I asked them to send what I submitted and they sent me a copy of the PROOF OF PURCHASE, which they claim is a delivery note.

Either I have been ripped off...

Or

The person who rejected my claim can't read or understands what an invoice or proof of purchase is!

As far as I am concerned I have fulfilled my part of the purchase and submitted everything as part of my contract to receive the earbuds.....

Samsung appears to have failed their part of the contract.

Definitely didn't miss anything i used the exact same document when I redeemed my Buds 3 during the promotional period so you have Definitely done it right.. someone on the other end either doesnt understand how the telco promo redeems work or they clearly didn't read the document...

The proof of purchase clearly shows the IMIE number which would have to match up with Samsung's promo records

Ask for a tax invoice. Send to Samsung.

Looks like you have definitely fulfilled your part. I would escalate this up the chain with Samsung. Don't give up.
