So when the final update comes out do we just update it and then this app goes away ? Like are we completing done with beta then

Yes, if I recall this is what will happen. Then this beta testers app will disappear completely and your phone will be upgraded to the stable version after one final beta notice.
They may or may not have another survey as well.
