I get that this is a Beta. I get it, but...

... How is possible that there's a basic update to the UI skin that Samsung places over a fully functional operating system and there's these many issues.

I mean all kinds of issues. Gallary, Gmail, Chrome, messages, wifi/data disconnects, games failing, print services are dead, screen glitches and formatting issues, etc (just to name a few). And everyone is affected differently. There's NO consistency to the issues. 

It really seems like this beta was slapped together without the basic hands-on from Samsung and sent out for us to be the guinea pigs.

I really like Android 10, but if the skin is causing all these issues, maybe it's time for Samsung to roll out clean version of the OS rather than working to fix 100 small issues.

All the issues I'm getting is some screen glitches but none of the others you're talking about lol; maybe you just have bad luck

That's one of my points. I listed many of the issues folks have had, but I haven't had all of them.

I haven't had ANY screen glitches or dark mode activation issues. Many folks have. How is it so different?

LOL, in a beta that's exactly what you are, a sort of guinea pig.

I'm a software engineer ... what I've seen in this beta and have easily fixed (using simple workarounds) is polished compared to other software I've worked with.

It's called a beta for a reason. There's no way Samsung could hire enough people with different tastes and ways of working to ensure all anomalies are caught.

One doesnt have to be a beta tester if they are overwhelmed. One should consider it honorable to be a part of bug hunt.

it might be possible that issues might be happening depending on what carrier your on I'm on sprint and it been good so far

I think it might help more to include the model and carrier on each report to the beta team. there maybe be a pattern
