Hi group. I'd like to get some feedback and opinions regarding Samsung Messages (which has gotten pretty good) vs Android Messages which is now equipped with RCS. I know to use the RCS the other person must also be using Android Messages but I'm not well versed on RCS vs SMS MMS except iPhone apparently does it way better. Anyway any thoughts or opinions on this? Thanks very much.

We communicate with lots of iPhone friends and it works just fine. it also has a Chrome plug in that syncs up with a Windows PC too.

It will all change next year. RCS isn't standard across all carriers at present but that's changing. Google was supposed to assist the big 4 with developing a unified app but the carriers sat on their hands and did nothing. So Google went ahead and released their RCS. Now, on their own, the big 4 has formed an alliance to develop a messaging app next year. Most think that anything the carriers develop will be hit and miss but that's where it's at now... a mess.

Through Android messages (Google messages) you can text from any device, not just a PC. the Emojis look better in my opinion and that is the only messages app you can get RCS on currently so I'm hands down a Google messages fan
