Samsung pay does not launch from home screen when you have gestures enabled, instead it opens the app drawer. Now phone has to be locked to swipe up go open favorite card for Samsung pay.
it works for me sometimes, but it's only annoying when using the "swipe from sides and bottom" gesture set.. it becomes frustrating to swipe up for the Samsung pay on the home screen and the card disappears.. also cumbersome to try and grab the handle to expand the side panel and the back button activates.. this gesture set doesn't work well when it overlays the Samsung pay the edge panel features.
Please try clearing the system cache and rebooting your device.
