show keyboard button

Has anyone figured out how to fix the "show keyboard button" option being greyed out? I'm tired of the giant bar below the keyboard taking up so much space. 

Sorry if this has been addressed already. It's a pretty obvious glitch so I'm sure it has been, but I haven't been able to find it by searching this app yet. Thanks!

I think I finally figured it out. in the navigation bar settings, there's a new feature that says "show button to hide keyboard". I turned that off, and now the giant bar under the keyboard is gone

have you tried clearing the cache through bootloader?

yes, just tried it. no change. that option is still greyed out.

Please try clearing the system cache and rebooting your device.
