Why do I not have a clock in notification bar?

I am seeing posts about some people having time in upper left corner and some like me it have "Sprint" I would much rather have clock than Sprint but I wonder why some have it and some don't?

Is it a carrier thing? TMobile has clock and Sprint has "Sprint?

Ok so I just noticed when I took a screenshot to post now the clock is there when I have a notification? Is that how it's gonna work?

Not sure if you've rebooted yet or not but people have said that rebooting has fixed this bug for them.

yeah I have but I will try again. Like I said the clock popped up after I took screenshot but went back to "Sprint" once I cleared it. To me I would rather have the clock but Sprint may think otherwise..lol

Nope just tried again but I did confirm the clock shows ONLY when there is a notification present. once cleared it's back to Sprint.

let me try again. wasn't showing because my current notification bar was in the way. you can see with this one.

Just to help you gather information... I'm on TMO and I have the clock in the top left corner all the time.

EXACTLY! I have the same issue but apparently everyone else here thinks I am crazy!

I am having this issue as well (Sprint user). I reported it in the beta app too but as a work around I just set a permanent VPN notification so the clock is always there now until it is fixed

this issue has been bugging me a lot it's so annoying I have to pull down the notification bar to look at the time
