Disable the Taskbar Temporarily

If the Taskbar itself is causing confusion, you can disable it.

Navigate to Settings > Display.

Scroll to Taskbar and toggle it off.

This will hide the Taskbar entirely, preventing apps from lingering visually.

Swipe it away or tap the "Close" or "Stop" option to fully remove it from memory and the Taskbar.

my point of this post was that you shouldn't have to.

Taskbar displays pinned and recent apps.

Even when you close an app’s window by clicking the "X", the app may remain in memory as a "recent app" or stay pinned to the Taskbar, making it appear as though it’s still open.

This is by design to allow quick access to frequently used apps.

but if you open and close and app multiple times it just adds multiple to that list of tasks in task manager.

Samsung’s Taskbar prioritises recent and favourite apps.

Try not to pay to much attention to ghosting icons after closing. The system manager will automatically clean this up.

well it's bad for the user experience.

I'm sure, such could be distracting. Once again you could disable it.
