The Samsung Wallet app needs the "Phone" permission, to verify your identity and ensure secure operation, which is essential for its core features.

To reduce potential battery drain, while using Samsung Wallet:

- Grant the mandatory 'Phone' permission for secure functionality, but avoid enabling unnecessary permissions.

- Avoid putting the app to sleep, if you use it on the Cover Screen or for Tap n Pay.

No issue with global mobile phone release.

Security gesture, like a password, must be set for Samsung Wallet to work.

Try uninstall, then reinstall app to refresh security setting. This may help.

Factory reset for Firmware issues no escape on that one.

It may be due to regional restrictions. If so, use Google Wallet.
