This is your Tech Trailblazer, Vin!🚀 Reporting for duty! Just kidding. There have been many things happening in my life over the past week, and I wrote this to share some of the things I've learned.
Before that, I want to congratulate Carlos Yulo for winning a two gold medals for the Philippines—he truly deserves it! I'm amazed, considering that I was just watching his videos back in 2019. Since then, many things have happened, and he has become one of Team Galaxy's stars. #OpenAlwaysWins
His journey to becoming a gymnast wasn't easy. It took a lot of practice, overcoming injuries, and years of preparation for many competitions since palarong pambansa. Sadly, many people may judge and doubt, but the determination and passion that he consistently shows will lead to victory in any situation. As mentioned in a Samsung interview, some athletes lack resources, but that didn't stop them from shining with their talents to achieve what they truly want and to represent the Philippines.
That lesson can apply to students. Some of us lack the opportunities and resources needed to succeed in our studies, but we do not stop reaching for our dreams. I know many students who work while studying, and some are forced to take breaks to earn money for their education. However, that shouldn't hinder anyone from striving for greater heights and helping not only themselves but also those around them by spreading positivity.
Recently, I've continued working to help my fellow students, especially freshmen, by guiding them on what to expect and how to make the most of their first year. Last year, I assisted my fellow students, and for me, helping others without expecting anything in return creates an atmosphere where people support one another, fostering a friendly environment.
After that, I continued my organizational work for upcoming events in our club. I was also lucky enough to join an exclusive Samsung event, thanks to a friend. It was their first time in BGC, and two friends from our university even won Galaxy Buds on our way back home. I was happy to introduce them to new people and share many ideas and knowledge.
The same day, we had another event with the AWS User Group. There are many people I look up to in this group, they share their stories about how they became tech professionals, and hearing them motivates me to continue learning and do things that will take me to new places. I even had a chance to tell them about Samsung innovations because they were curious about what it's like being a Galaxy Campus Ambassador.
After that day, we had our third general meeting in the club to plan a special event for next month, where I documented our journey. I hope to upload my video, showcasing my Galaxy device.
The next day I proceeded to film my Galaxy Z Flip6 experience in One Ayala with my two friends, who helped me record and assist in filming. From my application until now, I'm thankful for my friends' support, which motivates me to do more.✨️
