Full Screen Gestures with "Gesture Hint" OFF

Samsung please please please bring back the ability to swipe between recent applications by simply sliding your finger left to right while gesture hint is not enabled. Just as if the "gesture hint" bar is there.

I like and appreciate the gesture of swiping up and "throwing" left or right to change between recent apps. But I cannot tell you how many times attempting to do so only results in triggering the recent application view.

It is much much easier to just slide my finger left or right at the bottom of the phones screen.

I'm sure most would agree with me!

PLEASE BRING THIS FUNCTION BACK!!!

Is this still a thing? Find it really annoying I have to pick either full screen, or being able to switch between apps the way I prefer.
