This is probably impossible but it's worth a shot to ask. It would be amazing if the default Samsung messaging app can have universal RCS or chat features regardless of carrier. This is the one thing that can compete with Apples iMessage. Google has been trying to implement RCS for ages with zero to none progress. If possible, please add chat features/RCS to be able to compete with other competitors. Samsung's AR Emoji is a clear immigration of Apples Animoji's but is less diverse. Adding universal RCS chat features that bypasses the carrier would be a MAJOR upgrade in Samsung's Messaging app.

Why stop at Samsung messaging app? Why not Google messenges and support 3rp parties as well.

they need to just scrap Samsung Messages and auto load Google Messages because Google is doing something about RCS and Samsung is not. Plus the Google messages app has more features and is updated far more frequently
