In the full screen gestures with gesture hints on there is a faded white part around the bar in most apps. You should make it so it is clear so it is just the bar with whatever the app background is.
I wonder if it's just not up to Samsung. Some apps are clear, like google messages, some are the color of the status bar like in play store or joe for reddit, and some are just black like in telegram.
