Looks like it has been removed in the second beta. Not sure why but please bring it back. I love using gestures however sometimes when I'm doing a lot of things on my phone the easiest way is to have the navigation bar there. Besides that, does anyone elses thumb get tired of doing the same swipe up over and over again? Lol.
Also sometimes when you swipe up from a page that has scrolling it will scroll up (or down) and attempt to go home leading to a little stutter. Especially in messages for those of us that have thousands of messages with media. Can we have a small area above where we are swiping as a dead zone where it fully commits to only go home or to multitasking? Or have it register that once you press in the area where you are supposed to swipe that it's only going to interact with the gestures system and no scroll on a page.
the gesture navigation issue with keyboard and apps responding to the gestures only became an issue with the first issue. Never had that problem on Android P. Definitely needs to be addressed though. Every time i swipe to hide keyboard or go home I end up writing something too.
