Smart and Globe uses N78 5G band, which is supposed to be supported by ur A22 5G. One possible culprit is that your sim is not 5G ready. Also its possible that 5G signal is very weak, in this caae, go to an open area and toggle airplane mode on then off. Your phone should be able to connect to 5G

Hi I appreciate your response, my sim is 5G ready though, and my area seems to have strong 5G signal. My iphone can detect it and other phones used by people in the house. It's just this phone I am having troubles with 😑

Hi, that's odd. Check the Access Point Names configuration as well of your network. Choose the correct APN for prepaid or postpaid account

Go to Settings>Connections>Mobile Networks>Network Operators> Choose which sim is 5G ready and unclick the button for Select Automatically. Wait until it detects all available networks and once done, choose the 5G signal.
