Korean Note 10 5G (N971N) doesn't lock to NR in PH

Is this normal? this Note 10 is import from korea to philippines, when i connect to smart, it usually only says NR Available but using LTE. I tried changing it to NR only in the network settings, but doesn't work at all. I tried changing the APN settings, and changed the bearer to NR, it deselects itself (apn) and it wont let me connect to the apn. Any way i can connect to true 5G?
