Hi SAM,

When are you going to enable the BP and ECG features for Galaxy Watch 3 in the Philippines?

Thing is my wife bought the watch for me as she is thinking that it has a BP, ECG, and fall detection feature as advertised online (according to her).

Looking forward to your kind response.

Thanks!

For now, the ECG and BP features are not yet available here in the Philippines, officially. Be updated by checking here on Samsung Members once it becomes available, or on Samsung's Official Social Media pages.

Nonetheless, keep your device up-to-date, to have the latest features, security, and other improvements on your Samsung Galaxy Watch.

Hello NeilG,

We appreciate your patience while we wait for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3's BP and ECG features to become available in the Philippines. Thank you for raising this issue.

For the meantime and for your information, the BP App is intended for general wellness and fitness purposes only. It is not intended for use in detection, monitoring, diagnosis, treatment of any medical condition or disease. The measurements are for personal reference only. Samsung recommends you consult a medical professional for advice. For accurate BP readings, a calibration is required every 4 weeks by BP monitor & arm cuff.

The ECG feature is intended to create, record, store, transfer, and display a single channel electrocardiogram (ECG), similar to a Lead I ECG for adults 22 years and older. The ECG feature is not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis or treatment. The ECG feature is not intended for users with other known arrhythmias. If an irregular heartbeat or atrial fibrillation is detected, consult a doctor. If you experience symptoms of a heart attack, stroke, or other cardiovascular conditions, do not rely on the notification of the device and consult a doctor.

Be sure to stay tune for more updates & official announcement coming from Samsung website. Keep your device up-to-date with the latest software updates through Settings and/or  through Samsung Members app notification bell icon.
