Hacked FB Account

Anyone had their FB Account taken over by hacker, lose control/access over your own wall? Then, use the FB name to scam the contacts in the Directory?

Anybody who has worthy solution to "recover", or at least "terminate" the hacked FB Account, is welcome.

It's a race against time. The longer the hackers have your account, the harder it is to recover. I recently had to recover my mom's account. Took me around an hour from the time we discovered it was hacked, even though she had 2-factor authentication on. I can't remember the exact steps how I recovered, but I started with the email alerts FB sent about the change in mobile number and linked/registered email. Then, I played around with the recovery settings in the FB app until it brought me to a face verification.

OMG same it also took me an hour kasi iniba nila yung email tsaka password pero nakasave pa doon yung account ng mother ko sa Galaxy J4+ niya tsaka meron dun option na iibahin ko yung email address tsaka i eemail nalang daw and dun na nalaman ko yung full email address ng hacker or yung pinalitan na email

and the confirmation tsaka, dali dali kong iniba ang password at ni log out all session ko then nagdagdag ako ng number at saka email verification if someone na gusto mag enter sa account

May email ako ganito. Kamu Jan.1 morning ang attack, tulog tulog ako, di ko na nahabol.

I helped my grandmother recover her account by having authentications such as her face recognition, pinalitan ko din ang email and password. I also deleted all her interactions with the account
