Hello, let's try these tips for your device! Wiping your device's cache "might" help. To do it, access the Recovery Mode by, plugging your phone into a computer or inserting the included USB-C headset into your device and press the Volume Up + Power Button for a few seconds. Scroll down using the volume keys and then select the option to reset/delete cache, then lastly reboot your phone.

Optimizing your device can also help reduce battery drain. To do so, go to the Settings screen, tap Battery and device care and press Optimize now. With the quick optimization feature, it improves device performance by closing apps running in the background, managing abnormal battery usage, and scanning for crashed apps and malware.

Putting an unused app to Deep Sleep may also help with the battery drain. Uninstall unnecessary apps you aren't using. Turning off connectivity functions like the WiFi, Location, and Bluetooth when not in use may also help.

If none of these worked after a while, wait for the next software update as it may be the latest update causing your battery to drain faster.

Hello Renzel_7,

Thank you for reaching out to us in order to find out what's behind your Samsung Galaxy A03 fast-draining battery issue in comparison to your Samsung Galaxy A11 having a much lesser battery of 4000 mAh.

Don't you worry as we understand where your unpleasant experience is coming from having two Samsung Galaxy phone devices, surely you expect them running at an optimal value.

Following are some quick fixes and solutions we can offer right now.

A) Software Updates

Before we begin, ensure that your device is up-to-date with the latest Software updates.

Settings >  About Phone > Software update > Download and Install > Follow on-screen notifications.

B)  Running Apps in the background - Close all the unused apps running in the background while in gaming mode.

C) About Battery  - Both your device is running with Lightweight Lithium-ion Battery, which is high energy density, long-lasting and safe.

Batteries are consumables, and their lifespans are affected by their usage patterns and environments.

Normally, signs of battery deterioration include drastic decreases in battery life and unexpected shutdowns.

As battery efficiency decreases, the battery may deplete drastically or shutdown,
even if the screen displays plenty of battery power left.

D) Long-lasting Battery Care & Maintenance

Your Galaxy phones are designed to perform best at 0° ~ 35°C. Continuous use or charging in extreme temperatures may accelerate battery deterioration. Temporary exposure to extreme temperatures will activate the device’s safeguards to minimize damage, and charging will be limited to protect the battery from overheating.

E) Minimize battery deterioration with proper charging.

1) Always use an authentic Samsung charger to avoid battery deterioration and damage.
2) Always use a charger that fits. An incompatible charger could damage the USB port.
3) Properly connect the charger. Failure to properly connect may damage the device.
4) Unplug the charger after the device has reached 100% charge to avoid a swollen battery.
