Navigate to Settings, then tap Security and privacy, and then tap Privacy. Swipe to and tap Other privacy settings. The following settings are available in the Samsung section:
- Samsung Privacy: Review Samsung’s privacy guidelines for additional information.
- Customization Service: Allows you to personalize the content you receive in your apps, such as ads and marketing. You can also manage your personal data, erase your personal data, and disable customization services on other devices.
-
Send diagnostic data: Allow Samsung to collect diagnostic data from your device to improve its services.
You can also access the Permission manager from the Privacy screen to configure your desired permissions for the camera and microphone, as well as other services. Tap Back, then tap Permission manager, and then tap Camera or Microphone. Next, select an app to change the permissions. Choose your desired option, such as Allow or Don’t Allow.

SupportHello vagenrider,
Thanks for letting us know your Galaxy Store experience here, having issues with pop ads.
Really understand what your situation is right now, its annoying having those popping ads which you didn't want it in the first place. Don't worry, we are here to assist, provide quick fixes, and offer solutions to enhance your Samsung Galaxy experience.
Before you try out the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:
Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.
Step 2. Tap on Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Ads can be really intrusive, especially when they keep popping up on your screen. In most cases, if not all, pop-up ads are caused by a third-party app you recently installed. It is time to get rid of these pop-up invaders and get your phone - and peace of mind - back.
Pop-up ads have nothing to do with the phone itself. They are caused by third-party apps installed on your phone. Ads are a way for app developers to make money, and the more ads that are displayed, the more money the developer makes. This is why some of them are so persistent. You can get rid of pesky ads in a few steps.
Note: If you are experiencing annoying ads while browsing the web, you can install ad blockers with Samsung Internet.
How to remove the app responsible for the pop-up ads.
Step 1. First, enter Safe mode. Your phone won't run any third-party apps in this mode, so you shouldn’t see the pop-up ad anymore.
Step 2. While in Safe mode, navigate to Settings, and then swipe to and tap Apps.
Step 3. From here, you can remove the most recently installed or updated app(s) that might be causing the pop-up ads.
Step 4. To help you find the bad app, you can sort the list to show the most recently installed apps or latest updated apps.
Step 5. Tap the filter icon. It is on the right side of "Your apps." Then, select your desired sorting option.
Step 6. Finally, select your desired app, and then tap Uninstall to remove it from your device.
Step 7. Restart the phone and check if the pop-up ads disappeared. If required, repeat the procedure until you find the culprit.
